Smaller items, such as inverters and optimizers, are available for global delivery. Solar panels and batteries are delivered throughout Europe via tracked delivery, while solar panel kits are limited to UK deliveries.
Orders within the UK are typically processed on the same day as the order is received, with delivery expected within 3-5 days. It is essential to have someone available on the delivery day between 09:00-17:00. Failure to receive the delivery may result in a re-delivery charge, either sending the order back to the warehouse or to the customer’s address.
Any damage or discrepancies in the shipment must be reported within 10 days of receiving the shipment. Claims made beyond this period will not be the responsibility of City Solar AG.
European deliveries are typically processed within 2-3 days of receiving the order, with delivery expected within 7-14 business days.
International Parcel Deliveries
International parcel deliveries are usually processed within 2-3 days of order receipt, with delivery expected within 3-7 business days.
Delivery Dates and Liability
Booked delivery dates with the transport company are not guaranteed. The Supplier is not liable for delays caused by Force Majeure Events or the Buyer’s failure to provide adequate delivery instructions. The quantity of goods, as recorded by the Supplier on the proof of delivery signed by the Buyer, is conclusive evidence unless the Buyer provides evidence to the contrary.
The Supplier’s liability for non-delivery is limited to replacing the goods within a reasonable time or issuing a credit note at the pro-rata rate against any related invoice.
Insurance and Damaged Goods
Items are delivered fully insured and will be exchanged free of charge in case of damage resulting in non-functioning of the goods. To claim damaged goods, the items must be checked upon receipt, and the delivery note must be signed for as damaged. The Buyer must report the damage to the Supplier within 7 days of receiving the goods.
